2True Smooth Matte Foundation Review | CharlotteBehappy

So I watched this video by Emma Blackery and decided that I had to pick up this foundation. I got the lightest shade out of five different shades for £2.49 from Superdrug (here).

I was pretty much blown away by this foundation. It's a pretty cheap brand, it doesn't even had a stand, just a little carousel kind of thing. You don't hear much about this brand and like beautyuk or other similar brands, they are completely discarded off the blogosphere (probably because they're really cheap so prejudice deems that they are pretty bad).

This foundation gives the coverage of the Bourjois healthy mix, and this shade is very similar to the lightest shade they offer. It has a moussey consistency, and is similar to the Maybelline dream matte mousse foundation. This means it's matte but isn't thick and cakey. It's not dewy unlike the Bourjois foundation so it sets well and doesn't feel like it will just slide or melt off your face. It's not fully coverage but it blends wells and doesn't oxidise much at all.

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised (I feel like I say this a lot on my blog), and for £2.50, it's hard for me to see myself every buying a foundation over £5 again.
